Anjelika "Jelly" Joseph stole the spotlight for a brief moment moment with a soulful solo, showcasing her powerhouse vocals that left the audience captivated. Not to mention the fire sounds coming from the drums by none other than Nick Mercadel (@nickmercadel). Pair Nick with Khris Royal (@khrisroyal) on the keyboard and DJ Juane Jordan (@djjuanejordan) in the mix and that's what call a good time.
The dancers, including @tootietootzpt.2 (who is also the wardrobe stylist for the tour), @bobbi.504, and @shantonixavier, had their own standout solo dance moments, adding dynamic energy to the stage. The glam was giving what it was supposed to give thanks to Jayson Glenn ( @mr.jglenn who also was the sexy dancing Santa during the show) The interactive highlight came when Big Freedia invited fans on stage for a twerking and shaking session, creating a lively and inclusive atmosphere.
I was accompanied by Singer/ Songwriter Brayzi (@therealbrayzi) and Media Personality Kim Williams (@kimwilliamsatl), we all voted and that was the best concert we've ever been to. It was an absolute pleasure meeting Serial Entrepreneur and International booking agent ; Terrell Tee Everett (@terrelleverett). As the show approached its conclusion, Freedia orchestrated a heartwarming moment, calling everyone to the stage for a line dance together. The closing act took a poignant turn when the lights dimmed, and Big Freedia, along with the audience, sang Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You," creating a powerful and emotional finale that resonated long after the music ended.
With upcoming tour dates in Philadelphia, Brooklyn, Jersey City, and Boston, this tour promises more exhilarating experiences for fans seeking a blend of outstanding musical talent and interactive, memorable moments.
