Surface and Friends Tour: Kansas City Ignites the '90s Flame

This past Saturday, July 20th, 2024, Kansas City was the epicenter of pure '90s R&B vibes as the Surface and Friends Tour kicked off, brought to you by JZentertainment. With a lineup that had us all hyped—Surface, B-Side Band, Rome, Kutt Klose, Rude Boys, Michel’le, Changing Faces, and Public Announcement—it wasn’t just a concert, it was a throwback party we didn’t want to end.

Kansas City was the first stop, and it didn’t disappoint. The night started with B-Side Band, and they were killin’ it on the drums. The crowd was instantly vibing, and the energy only went up from there.

- Rome brought back that real '90s era, pulling some special ladies on stage and dancing with them, taking everyone back to the golden days.

- Kutt Klose had a point to prove, and they did just that with their smooth dance moves and effortless vocals.

- Rude Boys tore the stage down. When we say they were singing, they were SANgin’—soulful, powerful, and from the heart.

- Michel’le wowed everyone with her incredible voice, leaving the crowd in awe.

- Changing Faces had the whole place singing along to their timeless hits, bringing back all the feels.

- Public Announcement hyped up the crowd, pulling out all their classic jams and ending their set with a bang.

The night wrapped up with Surface, and they left us in a trance. David Conley played the flute to the smooth harmonies of their music, alongside bandmate John Feva, creating a mesmerizing performance. Their classics had everyone singing along, lost in the nostalgia of the '90s.

The real magic of the night was seeing all these legends on stage together for the first time. The love and camaraderie between the artists were palpable, creating a vibe that was unforgettable. Spontaneous collaborations and heartfelt moments made the night even more special.

The Surface and Friends Tour is off to an epic start, celebrating the music that defined a generation. Kansas City was just the beginning, and if the first night is any indication, the rest of the tour is going to be legendary. If you’re a '90s R&B fan, this tour is a must-see. Check the tour dates, grab your tickets, and get ready to relive the magic. This is more than a concert; it’s a full-blown celebration of a timeless era!
